Why am I selling Rollfast Mark II?
I am glad you asked. There are actually four reasons:
At the age of 78, I simply do not have the energy to float a
thing as big as this and make it all happen. I would secretly love to do it, it would be so
exciting, but I must be realistic.
There is no question that this will be big business, (real big!) and
I do not have the 'nouse', the business acumen to do it well. My expertise is in product
design, not big business. I ran the business with Mark I, but that was small business based in
little New Zealand plus I was 25 years younger then.
I do not have the resources, either financial or man power wise. I
don't even have a team, there is just me.
I need to be free to develop new products, not get bogged down in
trying to run this business. I have a few in mind, which you could perhaps benefit from
in the future.
So I am content to accept an up-front sum and a royalty and go back to my workshop and develop
